Photochromic

Lenses That Adapt.

Light-adaptive technology that responds to UV exposure — darkening outdoors for sun protection and clearing indoors for everyday clarity. One pair for every condition in Calgary and beyond.

How photochromic lenses work

Photochromic lenses contain specialized molecules that react to ultraviolet light. When exposed to UV radiation outdoors, these molecules change structure and darken the lens to a comfortable sunglass-level tint. When UV exposure is removed — stepping indoors or into shade — the molecules return to their original state and the lens clears. The result is seamless, automatic adaptation to changing light conditions throughout the Alberta day.

Three photochromic tints

Each colour is engineered for specific visual characteristics. All options darken to a comfortable sunglass density in bright sunlight and return to clear indoors.

Photochromic Grey

The most popular photochromic option. Provides neutral colour perception with even light reduction. Darkens to a comfortable sunglass-level tint in bright UV conditions.

Photochromic Brown

Warm-toned adaptive tint that enhances contrast. Particularly effective for driving and outdoor activities where depth perception matters.

Photochromic Green

Natural green tint that provides excellent colour balance. Reduces eye fatigue in bright conditions while maintaining true colour vision.
